Members may also enter our qualification programme and have their pictures assessed by our panel judges.   Our qualifications allow members to be recognised as professional wedding, portrait, commercial, landscape etc photographers.

Think Tank Photo’s New Retrospective Soft-sided Camera and Lens Shoulder Bags

French photographer honoured at this year's New York Photo Awards

Marc Garanger, the French photographer who shot "vivid" portraits of colonialism in 1960s Algeria, has won the first ever New York Photo Festival Lifetime Achievement Award at a ceremony marred by delays and severe technical problems.

Marc Garanger's win came at the end of a disastrous ceremony, which ran late and was interrupted, several times, due to missing slides in the show's presentation.

Apple announce iPad UK pricing and release date

Apple has announced that iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on Friday, May 28th.

Customers can pre-order all iPad models from Apple’s online store in all nine countries beginning on Monday, May 10th.

Wi-Fi iPad price points are £429/£499/£599 including VAT, with 3G-capable models carrying a £100 premium.

Apple plans to release iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July.
